We understand that you are dedicated to all of your students, that you give your all every day, but that some days there’s not enough of you to go around. Spring4th Educational Services is your partner in ensuring that all of your students are exposed to college and career options and life skills information that will help them to make better decisions about their futures.

Spring4th is a full-service provider and partner, offering fee-based advisory services, including administration of school-to-work, career services, internship and apprenticeship programs, and free and fee-based workshops and presentations, career guides, college and career planning workbooks, college, career and life skills training.

Spring4th’s free presentations and workshops cover a range of career and college planning and life skills topics, including college admissions, college financial planning, entrepreneurship, financial wellness and planning for life after graduation. Our fee-based workshops offer a more intensive, hands-on opportunity to work in teams, apply new knowledge and skills, and leave having taken steps toward solving a real-world problem (i.e. getting into college, paying for college, or preparing for the world of work).

We at Spring4th are acutely aware of your need for flexibility, and accordingly, offer our presentations and workshops during, before- and after- school. Consequently, interactive presentations generally last one hour, while our hands-on workshops vary in length from 3 hours to 3 days (2 hours per day after school or weekends). We also offer longer-term weekend and summer workshops that allow students to continue work begun during the school year, or try new offerings.

Like other educational service providers, many of our workshops are offered to schools, colleges, community centers, and churches free of charge, thanks to our sponsors.

Unlike other providers, Spring4th does not collect student information for military recruiting or junk mail. And, our programs do not leave students with only topical information and a glossy workbook. Spring4th uses professional and volunteer presenters and workshop leaders to offer students to the most current information on careers, college admissions and other featured topics. Students will leave each presentation or workshop with a workbook, an action plan, applications and, most importantly, contact information they can use to receive individualized support and advice after the workshop or presentation.

Spring4th also provides workshops and presentations to parents and guardians. One such workshop is Everybody Else’s Guide to Paying for College, a hands-on college financial planning workshop offered to both students and parents. During the workshop, parents work with our staff to complete the FAFSA and other financial aid applications. This program is available evenings and weekends.

So, how do you bring Spring4th to your school, college, community center or church?

SCHEDULING A WORKSHOP OR PRESENTATION

1. Select a Spring4th program(s)

2. Contact Spring4th at 415-971-4749 or info@spring4th.net to schedule a meeting to discuss your needs (Our schedule fills rather quickly, so please provide no less than 3 weeks notice.)

3. Please be prepared to provide the following:

• Your name, title and contact information
• School name and address
• Please identify and secure a venue (classroom, community center, church or other) and ensure that two or more senior educators, administrators or counselors are available to attend
• The names of the administrators or educators who will attend
• An estimate of the number of student and/or parents who may attend
• Your budget (if requesting a fee-based program)

4. Spring4th will ship program materials to you prior to workshop or presentation date

5. You will be assigned a Program Coordinator who will work with you to ensure that the workshop or presentation is properly executed, and to coordinate advisory services and support after the workshop or presentation.
