Services
Spring4th Educational & Advisory Services is a full-service partner in career and technical education, offering not only top-quality free workshops, presentations and publications, but also market-leading fee-based advisory services.
Because we understand that schools, colleges, faith-based and community organizations may lack the resources to build and maintain relationships with employers and other industry leaders, develop and update curriculum, and provide personalized career and college support, Spring4th’s Advisory Services Division offers a comprehensive array of services to our partners.
Spring4th’s advisory services include:
School-to-Work Program Management – Want a complete solution to all of your career technical education, advisory services and job placement needs? Spring4th’s staff of professional career counselors, job coaches and HR professionals will develop, implement and manage school-to-work programs for individual schools, community or faith-based programs. We will work with the school or program to determine student and instructional needs, make industry contacts, train community members and business owners and coordinate placements of students into jobs in community-based businesses. Spring4th will also manage operations of existing school-to-work programs.
Career Services – Let Spring4th serve as your Career Services office and provide career guidance, job/internship placement assistance and community and employer outreach.
Internship Program Management – Spring4th staff will manage your existing internships, or develop and manage new internships programs with employers across several industries. We will work directly with employers and school or program administrators to ensure that students are properly placed and appropriately managed.
Apprenticeship Program Administration – Spring4th staff will assist students in identifying and gaining acceptance to registered apprenticeship programs
Individual Student Career and College Coaching – Spring4th will assign a career or college admissions coach to individual students to serve as a guide and partner in their future planning.
School-Employer Partnerships – Spring4th will facilitate and manage a formal relationship between your school and one or more employers to create internships and apprenticeships, arrange field trips, guest presenters, volunteer opportunities and events.
A Day at the Office – Spring4th partners with employers to provide students an opportunity to visit employer workplaces to participate in meetings, on-the-job training and facility tours, just as any new employees might. The goal of the program is to expose students to the work environment so that they know what to expect and how to succeed when they enter the working world.
App Camp (College Edition) – Spring4th hosts an annual, week-long intensive workshop designed to ensure that every high school senior completes at least one college application, registers for admissions tests (if applicable), completes the FAFSA and at least one scholarship or grant applicaton before s/he graduates. App Camp also affords parents an opportunity to learn about the college and financial aid process.
App Camp (Career Edition) – We want to ensure that the needs of students who intend to go to work in lieu of or prior to college are not subordinated to those of college bound students, so we also host App Camp-College Edition to help these students identify and apply for job and apprenticeship opportunities. Spring4th staff will work with school or program administrators to ensure that students know how to search for jobs, that they have all required documents, including resumes, identification and permits, and that they are prepared for interviews.
